In Person/Virtual - The Fluid Fascia: Spring Series

Fascia, in it’s healthy state, can lend itself to uninhibited, expansive, efficient and liquid-like movement.

The fascia: Fascia embeds every tissue in our body, down to the tiniest cell. It’s interconnected with consciousness energy, and can store old forms of physical, mental and/or emotional trauma until it’s released. Since the fascia is a system that conducts it’s way throughout the whole body, a restriction in one area can affect the tissues in another; creating unhealthy holding patterns and overall decreased mobility in the physical and energetic bodies.

The experience: In this in person (limited space only) and virtual workshop series, we will explore specific ailments through the world of fascia, by releasing fascial restrictions with therapeutic movement, foam rollers, therapeutic balls, and yin yoga poses.

The focus: 

Each week builds upon each other. While you can take individual classes, for the best results, participate in the whole series.*

Prior to Week 1 – Watch the recording of Fascia 101 – A 30 Minute Workshop Introducing You To Your Myofascial System (a streamable link will be sent to each participant)

Week 1 – Anxiety & Depression
Week 2 – Low Back Pain
Week 3 – The Effects Of Text Neck
Week 4 – TMJ Dysfunction

*Recordings will be available for 7 days post workshop for those who can’t make it live, with the option to purchase all recordings after the series is complete.

The benefits: The techniques that will be covered are self care tools that can be used in your everyday life to prevent ailments from occurring, help enhance the bodywork you may already receive in private sessions or help you heal from chronic tension and pain patterns. Since the body/mind are intricately linked to one another, these self-care techniques can have a reducing effect on anxiety and stress that may be held in your body’s tissues.

The tools you’ll need: Foam roller, soft 4″ all-sport ball, tennis ball, yoga mat and pillows or yoga blocks for extra support.
