I don’t heal you.
You heal you.
How do you feel reading those two statements? Take a moment with them. Let the words settle in.
Now ask yourself, do you feel:
- at peace with these words?
Paying attention to how you feel during the day to day is the first step in taking action on your own healing.
Over the years, many people have come to me for treatments saying the following:
“I want you to fix me.”
Just so we’re clear, I’m not here to fix you.
Human beings cannot be fixed, and you, my friend, are a human being.
Now a human robot, hopefully there’ll never be such a thing, would be like a machine with parts that can be fixed in order to make the whole run smoother.
Human beings, on the other hand, are multidimensional creatures who have hearts, minds, spirits, and yes…bodies.
So as a human being, you’ve lived a day or two experiencing the highs, the lows, and everything in between on the mental, emotional and physical levels.
And as much as I hate to say it, because sometimes those experiences were out right painful or traumatic, the age old saying applies here…”you have to feel it to heal it.”
While my services can help you drop your outer walls of protection, soften and eventually feel; I’m not here to do the actual feeling for you. I’m not healing you, but rather facilitating you. I’m facilitating your ability to connect to your inner world by helping your outer structures relax via bodywork, dance and yoga; while creating a safe space for you to be seen and truly heard for you who are.
Yet because I’m not in your body, heart or mind; it is ultimately YOU who has to do the feeling from the inside out in order for true healing to take place.
“Now why such the strong stance?” You may be asking.
It’s because I’ve lived it.
Before we dive into the 7 keys to access your inner healer, here’s my story to help you understand why my previous statements are what I consider to be, what I know for sure…
