Imagine waking up in the morning feeling ready for your day and being present for your life rather than in pain.
Let’s face it, you know you’re more than just a human robot, a task master rushing through your day. But it’s not always easy to remember that. When you’re stuck in your head all day long, it’s challenging to make anything better because you’re so disconnected from the vessel you’re in. How in the world can you make changes in your life if you’re not connected? You can only think your way through life so much. You actually have to feel your body in order to it.
That’s exactly what my work is here to do for you. When you come in for a session you can expect an intuitive blend of bodywork skills that address, not only the physical body, but also the energetic bodies that house our mental, emotional and spiritual selves. Sessions include Myofascial Release (MFR) as taught by John F Barnes, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, Reiki and body wisdom coaching techniques to meet your individual needs.
This is not a cookie cutter approach to working with someone.
It is a facilitation, an opportunity to tap into the innate healing wisdom of the body that’s already within you.
Each session is different – it meets you where you’re at that present time and honors you as an individual.

The following is a reflection I shared on my social media accounts after my last day of John Barnes Myofascial Release Approach training in Clearwater, FL. It’s an account of the impact that this work has had on me personally…which ultimately pours out of me professionally. I’d like to share this reflection with you and
Happy 2020 to you! As we continue to embark on our journey into the new year, I’m feeling compelled to share some gentle reminders with you. We live in a world where most of us are living in our heads (and not our bodies) where we want quick fixes to what ails us, and all
The title of this blog post says it all. It is also something, I personally learned the hard way, years ago during my days working as a contemporary dancer, and now working professionally as a myofascial release therapist, cannot stress enough! Still Have Questions?
What do I wear?
You can wear whatever you like to your session. If you are receiving a myofascial release session, please bring shorts and a sports bra or tank top (if you’re a woman) to wear during treatment. During a therapeutic massage treatment you can disrobe to your comfort level. Throughout the session you will be resting underneath a full sheet and blanket.
What treatment is best for me?
This is the last thing I want you to be concerned about. Every time you come in for a session, we will sit down and check in with each other. Once I learn where you’re at the day of your session, we will go over the modalities that will most enhance your current experience. That said, if you really want to have a reflexology session, for example, book that and your wishes will be respected and the session tailored to a reflexology experience and the like for other specific treatments.
Is my credit card charged at the time of booking the session?
Nope! Your credit card is required at the time of booking a session through the online scheduling portal in order to hold you session. Payment is due at the time of your session in person. The credit card information provided at the time of booking will only be used in the event there is a late cancellation or no show.
How do I take care of myself after treatment?
Awesome question that will be answered in further detail after your session, because, hey, every – body is different and will have different needs post session to enhance your unique experience. That said, there are some general things you can do for self care. Drink plenty of water! I can’t say this one enough! It’s important to rehydrate your tissues, the ones that were dehydrated before coming into your session and tensing or cramping up as a result. Also, it’s best to rest your body and take it easy 24-48 hours after your session. Go back to your physical activities too soon and you run the risk of injury. Give your body the time it needs to fully rest, heal and acclimate to the changes that took place during your session.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted.
What is your cancellation policy?
As a lover of life, I understand that things happen that are out of our control from time to time. Because of this understanding, my practice allows a first time free-bee session in the event of a late cancellation. After the first time free-bee is extended to you, any future late cancellations (less than 24 hour notice) will result in a 100% charge for the session.
